W-A-A-J-E-E-D! Don’t forget how to spell the name because you’ll be hearing about it a lot. Especially when Waajeed, Saadiq (Platinum Pied Pipers) and their new supporting cast set to release their sophomore album Abundance(Ubiquity) this fall of 2008.
If you don’t know Waajeed, he is a Detroit native who happens to be a founding member of the great Slum Village. Not only has he mastered his craft from the late great J Dilla (RIP), he has worked with artists such as Elzhi, Guilty Simpson, Invincible, Dabrye, Buff1, just to name a few. Waajeed started Bling47 in 2001. Which is a label and an online community to showcase the abilities of the many talented artists he has worked with.

Long story short: Bling47 is basically going to take over and change how we hear music today. With the launch of Bling47 TV, and Bling47 Radio, etc. I know first hand that Waajeed and the Bling47 Music Group will reach your ears slowly but surely. This podcast is just one way of keeping us up to date on the latest and greatest from the Bling47 crew and it’s affiliates. They will also be playing some exclusives from the new PPP album, cast interviews and much more.
