Virtual Reality Treadmill

The University of Tsukuba Japan has developed a dome shaped virtual reality walking system. The dome has a viewing angle of 270 degrees horizontally and a 60 degrees vertically. The system is not fully developed and is made for patients that need physical therapy, but is very expensive for hospitals to install. On a not so serious note, just imagine the type of things you can put up on this screen. It would certainly get some people to exercise more often. Hit the link for a couple videos of the VR Treadmill in action.
