No. Those aren’t really cardboard boxes, it’s actually quilt and pillowcase covers that mimic the homeless’ common sleeping arrangement. Designed by SZN, this “Le Clochard” or Cardboard project hopes to help young homeless people in the Netherlands, “The income is used to fund housing projects which prioritize supporting young people in finding work or continuing their education.” The quilt cover comes in several sizes at a price range from $73 to $117 and a set of two pillowcases costs about $22.
