Nike “Reuse-A-Shoe” Program

Nike has just launched their Reuse-A-Shoe program, a worn out shoe recycling effort that will save Nike money allow Nike to produce, well, more Nike products. It’s easy. Nike takes your old sneakers and recycles them to make basketball courts, running tracks, or even new sneakers. It’s part of the company’s efforts to reinvent products that have reached the end of their intended use and to close the loop of its manufacturing process. Each individual can donate up to 10 pairs of shoes at a time, and they don’t even have to be Nike’s (cha-ching). We suppose the only problem is that most of you have 200 pairs of brand new sneakers… Either way, hit up Reuse-A-Shoe for all the heart & sole details.
