Better Bike Racks For NYC

As much as we loathe ‘fixie’ riders, we’ve actually been trying to make you guys cooler…err…less uncool. First we gave you word bout the exploding bike lock to keep your bike safe from thieves, then we hooked you up with Alien LED lights to put on your wheels so you’ll be safe at night. Now we have word on the new bike racks that will be taking over NYC. Out of the 200 plus entries for the CityRacks Design Competition, designer Bettlelab came up with an all-around conventional bicycle rack that rode away with first place. The bike-tire aesthetic, functionable design, and the weather-bearing cast-steal construction make this rack off the chain…on the chain…you get it.
