“Twelve Animals” by Kentaro Nagai

In a series of illustrations entitled “Twelve Animals,” graphic artist Kentaro Nagai rearranges the world map to create the beasts of the Chinese zodiac - you know, the animals on the Chinese calendar. Every part of the world, from the biggest continents to smallest islands, is used in the construction of these pieces - wow. Pictured above is the Ox, see all the animals below. Currently on display at the Media Arts Festival at the National Art Center, Tokyo until February 15.
