YouTube Adds Full Length MGM Movies
November 10th, 2008 in Lifestyle by Lars

Trying to find your favorite copyrighted scene on Youtube usually ends up with an annoying voice-over, a homemade video that had absolutely nothing to do with your search, or a copyright infringement message. Well, although slightly behind (but soon to catch up), it looks like Youtube is taking the Hulu.com route. After a mostly loosing battle against keeping copyrighted material off it’s site, the video sharing service will now feature full length content from MGM. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer will run a limited selection of TV series along with full-length films and popular movie clips. Earlier this month, YouTube also began posting full-length episodes of older shows including “Start Trek” and “Beverly Hills 90210.” Click the link below for more details.
