Diamond Supply Co. has been running the Streetwear/Skateboarding game for years. Now, we introduce you to the Diamond Supply Co.: Back To School Collection which will be dropping early August. The Back to School Collection consists of collaborations from Mighty Healthy, Ace Trucks, Fillmore Wheels, and Crooks & Castles [New Colorways]. After giving the first Nike SB July ‘08 Preview, which included the SB eBay Socks, we had a second July SB Update that introduced us to even more SB’s at UNIV, now we have more images of the July collection and new SB’s that will be available in August. Namco Bandai has just released Soul Calibur for the Xbox 360, on the Xbox Live Arcade. Soul Calibur was one of the flagship titles for the launch of the Sega Dreamcast. It was one of the first games that looked better on your home console than the arcades. If you have never heard of Soul Calibur, it is one of the best 3D fighters there is. It is also one of the only weapon based fighters out there. If you are into games like Street Fighter you owe it to yourself to play this gem. It still holds up pretty well for a game released back in 1999. If you have a Xbox 360 go download it now for only 800 points ($10). This should hold you over until the release of the fourth installment of the series, later this month.

The Dark Knight is set to release on July 18th. The marketing blitz has started and with that we get a brand new poster, pictured above, and trailer. The poster itself is the best one released so far. As you can see it’s a picture of Batman that the Joker graffitied a smiley face over and a few lines like “Why so serious?” The poster itself is hinting at how crazy the Joker really is. If you are looking to be one of the first to see the movie, you better get your tickets soon. Reports are coming in that hundreds of theaters are sold out for there midnight shows already. Genius Products and B1 Games unveiled today the Halo Interactive Strategy Game, the first ever board game based on the Halo universe. Halo has already branched out to books, toys, and other things. Now Master Chief will be starring in a board game as well. This game will bring the Halo universe to a broader audience with its family friendly features. The Halo Strategy Game will include characters from the Halo universe, along with scenarios and endless options. Look for the Halo board game to hit stores in September.

Our presuppositions got the best of us as well. We thought that skate superstar Tony Hawk’s son Riley would be another vert freak, struggling to meet the high plateaus of his father but never earning any limelight; however, Riley took the higher road and is a straight up street rat. Not only does he skate street; he skates it well. Not one second of vert in his whole part. Flip-in, flip-out tricks, handrails, banks, and ledges, this kid has it all covered and has a promising future. He grew up so fast and put together a 1min 40sec vid that will leave your jaw dropped. Above he’s doing a Back Smith Kickflip out–the catch and stomp on the kickflip is legit. Check Riley Hawk’s whole video here. Expect his skate career to soar.
