KAWS At Gering & López Gallery - Opening

KAWS held a private reception last night for his solo exhibition at the Gering & López Gallery in New York City. The exhibition features some of the most recent works by the artist, including large scale painting in acrylic, sculptures, and his newest project–33 uniquely painted life-size bronze sculptures of KAWS’ own severed head (pictured above). KAWS invited some of his close friends including several celebrities in their own right for the evening including Edison Chen, Pete Wentz (?), Dr. Romanelli, Haze and a number of other borderline A-list guests. Taking place at contemporary art gallery Gering & López, the exhibition will feature some of the most recent works by the artist, including large scale painting in acrylic, scultupres, and his newest project–33 uniquely painted life-size bronze sculptures of KAWS’ own severed head. BBC Pumpkin Carving Contest

For the second time, NO, this Jack-O-Lantern wasn’t made by KAWS and it’s not for sale (although we’ll make one and sell it to you for an outrageous price). We already showed you the “KAWS” Chomp-O-Lantern, now we have a pumpkin featuring KAWS’ famous Companion, but it doesn’t stop there. This time around it’s your turn to get involved. Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) is hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest where all you have to do is send them pictures of a pumpkin carved with a Billionaire Boys Club or Ice Cream logo of your choice or even something Pharrell or Neptunes related.
