Ah, Jimmy Jones. You thought he was done after “Ballin’”? Think again. With a starring role in an off-Broadway play called The Hip-Hop Monologues and his latest single “Pop Champagne” terrorizing clubs around the nation, it’s official: Capo is back in a major way.
In early 2009, Jones will drop his fourth album (and first major label look) Prey IV Reign, as well as a fitness DVD, a Damon Dash produced documentary and a role in Starz drama Crash. By now, we’re sure you read the Daily News article about Dame Dash’s comments, but get ready for the full story. Lil Wayne Feels Super Supra At VMA’S

It’s no secret that Supra gets top-notch placement with hip-hoppers, (Jay-Z in the Gold Muskas, duh) but having Lil Wayne swap out 3 different pairs throughout tonight’s MTV VMA’s are going to have the Weezy-wankstas in a frenzy. The Martian hit the red carpet (and then later performed) in the Supra Black TUF Skytops, then laced up a never-before-seen Vaider colorup to accept his Best Hip Hip Video award for Lollipop, and finally wrapped up his Supra-swagtastic night by hitting the stage with Kid Rock in the candy-coated red patent leather Skytops. Either Young Carter is eating, sleeping, and shitting in Factory 413, or his Supra connect is as serious as TIP’s gun collection. Bang bang! Check close-up shots of all the kicks after the jump.
UPDATE: So we just got word that those never been seen Vaiders were made for Pete Wentz for his 29th birthday. There are only 29 pairs in existence, and he gave them out to a very exclusive VIP list. Word is that everyone from KAWS to Pharrell to Weezy have received a pair.
