Sony PS3 Video Download Service
June 26th, 2008 in Video Games by Dom

Sony held a mid-term corporate strategy meeting in Japan where they outlined their upcoming releases, among other things. One key feature they are looking to implement into the PS3 is a video download service. Following in Mircrosofts footsteps, Sony has plans to release there own service. The screens above are the first images of the service and insinuate that Sony is staying close to the Playstation Store look. Like Microsofts service, for a small fee you will be able to download tons of movie and TV Shows in standard or high definition. Digital distribution is still expanding, but now with Sony now joining in, you can expect rapid growth. This service is scheduled to release tentatively this Summer.
