The time has come again for Spike TV’s annual Video Game Awards. So many great games have come out this year so it will definitely be interesting seeing who wins. Check out the trailer above that appeared on TV or check out all the nominees after the jump. Make sure you head over to the Spike TV VGA site and help decide who will win by voting. The ceremony will air on Spike TV on Sunday December 14th, 2008 at 9:00PM.

Street Fighter IV Release Date

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter IV will be getting released in the United States on Tuesday February 17th, 2009 and on February 20th, 2009 in Europe. Gametrailers.com has given us two videos of the newest additions to Street Fighter, Seth and Gouken. Watch ‘em after the jump.

New Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Fatalities

Gametrailers.com has posted a new Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe video showing us some fatalities/brutalities that are used by Liu Kang, Batman, and Baraka. If you haven’t heard yet, the DC Superheroes will not have fatalities but will have brutalities because DC Superheroes do not kill. Gears of War 2 Launch Trailer

Gears of War 2 is one of, if not the most, anticipated games to be released on the Xbox 360 this year. Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad return in G.O.W. 2 as this launch trailer put up by GameDaily shows us. It also has some glimpses of some new weapons for the game as well as some new enemies. Check it out after the jump. Gears of War 2 will be released on November 7th, 2008.

New Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Trailers

There’s only one word to describe these videos. Epic. GameTrailers.com have posted two new Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe trailers for your viewing pleasure. Ultimate Mash-Ups, shows two battles between Batman and Sub-Zero, and Superman and Raiden. Click after the jump to view the second trailer which tell us a little bit about how these two worlds collided. The game will be available everywhere on November 16th, 2008.

New Halo 3: Recon Information

Joystiq recently sat down with Bungie Studio’s community director, Brian Jarrard to learn a little bit more about Halo 3: Recon. In the interview, Jarrard states that the game will have all new music and at least one new weapon. He also mentions that the multiplayer maps in the expansion will function properly with the current Halo 3 maps. Unfortunately, there’s no referral to any production of Bungie working on a Halo 4 so keep your fingers crossed.

Tekken 6 - - TGS ‘08 Trailer
