Madden Football ‘09 Demo Out Now

Yesterday we showed you a brand new trailer from the upcoming Madden game. Today we have news that EA Sports released a demo on Xbox Live for Madden NFL ‘09. Don’t worry Playstation users, the demo should be up on PSN later today. The demo gives you a chance to try out the Madden IQ test and lets you replay the last drive of last year’s Super Bowl. The download is just over 1 GB so what are you waiting for? Start downloading now!

Medicom Toys “Chun-Li Figure”

With Street Fighter IV set to release at the end of this year, we are seeing more and more Street Fighter merchandise. Medicom Toys is releasing a 12″ Chun-Li figure in Japan as part of their Real Action Heroes Line. The figure comes with a stand and is fully articulated, making high-kick poses possible. Halo Statues by Weta

If you are unfamiliar with Weta, they are a special effects house who worked on movies like The Lord of the Rings. They are also in the business of selling expensive merchandise. Their upcoming line of statues are taken from the Halo universe. There are 5 statues in all which include Master Chief, Cortana, and more. Right now there is no firm release date or prices. Soul Calibur IV Out Today

Namco Bandai has released Soul Calibur IV for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 today with a MSRP of $59.99. Last week we gave you a look at the Limited Edition, which has also released today to select retailers, at the inflated price of $79.99. Leaked Videos of the New Xbox 360 Dashboard

Nowadays it seems everything gets leaked out before the official release. The new Fall ‘08 dashboard update for the Xbox 360 has been leaked, been hacked, whatever you want to call it. Check out the video above for the proof. If you yourself wants to install the update you can as well. You will of course need a modded console, and who knows what will happen to your system if you do install it. Leaked Need for Speed Undercover Trailer

Above is a leaked trailer of the new Need For Speed game from EA. Most fans of the Need for Speed series were not happy with last years installment. From the new trailer you get brief glimpses of gameplay. Let’s hope EA has went back to what worked, like the Most Wanted game. Also in the trailer you get a glimpse at the beautiful Christina Milian who will be making an appearance in the game. Look for Need for Speed Undercover to hit store shelves for most systems on November 18th.

Special Edition Xbox 360’s at Comic-con

These 4 Xbox 360 consoles were on display at Comic-con this weekend. Each console has it’s own theme; Watchmen, DC Comics, Terminator: Salvation, and Gears of War all have their own unit. These are not just cases for the console either, they are actually full-fledged Xbox 360s. Right now there is limited info on these 360s, but we will keep you informed as more information is revealed.

Rumor: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in the Works?

Mortal Kombat vs. DC is coming out at the end of this year, so you would hope that Marvel and Capcom would have some type of response. At Comic-con ‘08, IGN asked Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President of Production, if a new Marvel vs. Capcom game was possible someday. His reply: “Yes. And maybe sooner than you think.” IGN also said that the recent Tatsunoko vs. Capcom game could provide its engine for the new Marvel vs. Capcom game to the get it in stores quicker. We will keep you informed on this rumor once we get more information.

Street Fighter 4 Update and New Trailer

The anticipation for Street Fighter IV increases as each month passes. At Comic-con ‘08, Capcom mentioned that Cammy won an online poll for characters that should appear in the home versions of Street Fighter IV. This does not confirm that she will be included but another hint was dropped in the form of a new animated sequence. Cammy appeared in a good portion of this sequence, which was shown at Comic-con.
